Copy and Paste from your iPhone into Evernote.
If you are on the go and want to copy a bit of text, a photo, an email address or a phone number you can copy it and paste it right into Evernote.
Commuters: Use Evernote to lighten your pack.
With Evernote it doesnt matter what computer you use, all your documents and notes are always in sync waiting for you. That way you can leave your work computer at the office and work from home using your personal computer.
Safari Clipper: Hold down the shift key and click the elephant in Safari to get a PDF of the current web page sent into Evernote. This is great for documenting formatting or design of web pages.
HOWTO: Get Things Done with Evernote
Scan or take pictures of your kids drawings or school assignments to have a digital scrapbook of all of their accomplishments.
Teachers: Organize your lesson plans in Evernote.
You can put all your notes, outlines, activities, research, etc in Evernote and have it searchable and accessible from anywhere. That way you can start working on a lesson plan at home then continue working on your computer in your class. You can tag lesson plans with specific topics or subjects to make calling them up the next school year even easier.
Open up the search bar in Evernote easily, even when you are in another application.
Use the shortcut Control + Command + F (on the Mac version of Evernote) to put the cursor in the Evernote search bar and do quick searches when you need to find something right away.
You can create To-Do lists with checkmarks right in Evernote. You can even check items off on the go, straight from your iPhone. (Windows users can add To-Do lists by right clicking, then selecting- To-Do>Insert Checkbox or using the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+C)
Snap a picture of your license plate and store it in Evernote. The next time you check into a hotel or take your car in for a service you can call it up instead of having to go back outside and write it down.
When entering mutliple tags use a comma to separate them.
Coaches, store your playbooks in Evernote. This way if you ever leave the physical one behind you will always have your precious plays backed up and available on any device, anywhere.
Pro tip: Use tags such as zone, man to man, inbound, to call up specific plays for different situations.
